He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and in Paris. He exhibited from the 1890s-1920s, at the Chicago Society of Artists, Pan-Pacific Expo (San Francisco, 1915), and the Art Institute of Chicago. His work is in the collections of the Union League, Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago. Peyraud also worked in California. This is a large , important example of this artist's work. 4000-6000
