| 1478. Reginald Leslie Grooms (American, b. 1900), "Harbor Scene", c.1950; watercolor/paper, 18" x 24", signed. Grooms studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy and in Paris. He exhibited at the Cincinnati Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Worlds Fair New York, and the Paris Salons. He executed several portraits which are in the collection of the University of Cincinnati. He taught at the Cincinnati School of Applied Arts (1920s-50s). 500-700 | ||||||||||
