1476. Ernest Browning Smith (American, 1866-1951) "California Coast", c. 1930; oil/canvas laid down on board, 10" x 11.75", signed. Smith was a member of the California Artist Club and the Laguna Beach Art Association. He exhibited throughout the 1920s, and his work is in the collections of the Los Angeles Museum of Art and the San Francisco Museum of Art. Smith also played french horn for the Los Angeles Symphony Orchestra. 800-1200 |
