| 1445. Knute Heldner (Swedish/American, 1886-1954), "Hillside Birches, Deluth", c.1925; oil/ board, 25" x 36", signed. Important New Orleans painter. Heldner studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League. He exhibited extensively in the 1920s at the Art Institute of Chicago, Century of Progress Exposition (1934), Southern States Art League, and the Corcoran Gallery.
