1442. Elizabeth Heil Alke (American, 1877-1938), a pair of works, "Rolling Hills", c.1925; oil/board, 5" x 6", signed; with "Flowering Tree", oil/board, 4" x 5". Alke was the first woman to win the Ingalls Scholarship to the Cincinnati Art Academy. She studied with Caroline Lord and T.S. Noble.
