1425. Oliver Dennett Grover (American, 1861-1927), "Midwestern Landscape", c.1914; oil/canvas, 18" x 24", nicely framed. Grover studied in Munich and in Chicago. He painted in Italy for a number of years, and was well known for his marine subjects. He exhibited from the 1880s-1920, at the Paris Salon, National Academy of Design, Art League of Chicago, and the Art Institute of Chicago. 2500-3500 |
