Barbara Bisgyer (Cohn) (American, b. 1933), “Female Figures”, c.1970; bronze with dark brown patina, 27"h x 20"w, signed; this sets on a tall black plinth, which allows the very top to rotate, so the sculpture may be viewed at various angles, simply be turning the top). New York sculptor. Bisgyer studeid at Sarah Lawrence College and at the Sculptors and Ceramic Workshop in New York. She exhibited in the late 1960s and early 1970s, at Princeton University, Union Carbine, and Environment Gallery (NYC). She was a member of the New York Society of Women Artists and the American Society of Contemporary Artists.
