| 814. Grace Rivet Clements (American, 1905-1969), Tea Lady, c.1948; oil/canvas, 24" x 20", signed and dated. Oakland, CA painter. Clements studied with K.H. Miller and B. Robinson in New York. She worked as a WPA printmaker in the 1930s, while living in California. She exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art, Los Angeles County Museum, Oakland Art Gallery, Worlds Fair New York (1939), and the San Francisco Museum of Art (Post-Surrealists, 1935).
