| 591. Jacob Glushakow (American, b. 1914), "Maritime Hotel, Baltimore", c. 1940; oil/canvas, 18" x 25", signed. He studied with Kenneth Hayes Miller and Charles Locke at the Art Students League. He worked in Baltimore most of his life, but exhibited nationally, at the National Gallery of Art, National Academy of Design, and St. Johns College. His work is in the collections of the Baltimore Museum and the Phillips Collection (Wash. D.C.). Glushakow specialized in scenes of urban life in Baltimore. 1500-2000 | ||||||
