PREV. 511. Frank V. Dudley (American, 1868-1957), “Duneland and Jackson Park”, c. 1944, oil/canvas, 27" x 30", signed, labels verso, unframed. Dudley studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and in 1918, he had an exhibition of his paintings of the Chicago area and the lake shore dunes there. He also exhibited at the Chicago Gallery Association; Union League Club, Chicago (a painting by Dudley remains in their collection); Hoosier Salon, and the Museum of Art, Cedar Rapids, IA. He was a devoted supporter of the dunes area conservation. 8,000-12,000
