| 489. George Elbert Burr (American, 1859-1939), Lake Como, c. 1900; watercolor, 9" x 14", signed and titled. Burr studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and in Europe. He eventually moved to California and produced nearly 25,000 etchings of the landscape of southern California. He exhibited extensively from the turn of the 20th century until his death.
