| 471. Anthony DeFrancisci (Italian/American, 1887-1964), Twilight, c. 1935; bronze with red/gold patina, 22"h x 16"w, signed. DeFrancisci studied at the Art Students League, the Cooper Union Art School, and the National Academy of Design. He was a member of the National Academy, Rockport Art Association, and the Audubon Artists. He exhibited from the 1910s-30s, and his commissions include sculptures for the Allied Artists of America Memorial (Union Square, New York), Eli Lilly (Indianapolis), Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of French Mint (Paris).
