| 466. George Ames Aldrich (American, 1872-1941), Britany Winter, c. 1908; oil/board, 32" x 38", signed, excellent period frame. Aldrich studied with Whistler and F. Thaulow in France. His specialty was richly painted impressionist scenes of Brittany and Normandy. He exhibited regularly at the Hoosier Salon and the Art Institute of Chicago.
