| 817. David G. Pease (American, b. 1932), “Alabama Jubilee”, c. 1961; oil/masonite, 56" x 48", signed, titled, and dated. Pease studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Corcoran Gallery, Whitney Museum, San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Minnesota Museum of Art (all in the 1960s). He was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1965-66, and his work is in the collections of the Whitney Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, and the University Sydney, Australia. 1000-2000 | |||||||||||
