754. Clarence Holbrook Carter (American, 1904-2000), “Arched Bridge”, c.1930; graphite and chalk/paper, 8.5" x 11.5", signed. Carter studied at the Cleveland School of Art from 1923-1927, and with Hans Hoffman in Capri, Italy (1927). He exhibited in the 1920’s-1950’s at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Corcoran Gallery, and the Cleveland Arts & Crafts Society and is included in museum collections throughout the United States. 1200-1500
