Wilson studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and at Kentucky State College. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago; American Negro Expo (Chicago, 1940); Worlds Fair New York; Atlanta University (1946); Harmon Fund Traveling Exhibition; Southside Artist Club (Chicago); Kentucky-Southern Indiana Exhibition (1954); and the J.B.
