| 650. James Eccles (American, 1885-1983), “Smokie Mountains”, c.1940; oil/board, 16" x 20", signed. Chicago area landscape painter. Eccles studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with Walter Clute, Frederick Fursman, and Albert Krehbiel. He exhibited at the Hoosier Salon from 1949-1967.
