| 572. Eliot Candee Clark (American, 1883-1980), “Kent, Connecticut”, c.1925; oil/canvas, 32" x 40", estate stamp verso. Clark was the son of landscape painter Walter Clark. Studied at the Art Students League with Twachtman and in Europe (1904-1906). He exhibited at the National Academy of Design, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Society of American Artists.
