Thoele studied at the St. Louis School of Fine Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She exhibited at the St. Louis Artists Guild (1918-1946), Missouri State Fair, Society of Independent Artists, and Boatmen’s Bank. Her work is in many public collections in the St. Louis area.
