525. Delbert Dana Coombs (American, 1850-1938), “The Boathouse”, c. 1895; oil/canvas, 12" x 24", signed and dated. Coombs apprenticed as a photographer, and worked as a sign painter and teacher. He painted portraits and landscapes in Lewiston, Maine for over fifty years. His work is in the collections of Yale University and the state capitol in Maine. 1000-2000
