524. Randolph Coats (American, 1891-1957), "Weed Patch Hill, Brown County, Indiana", c.1920; oil/canvas, 26" x 32", signed. Coats studied at the Herron School of Art and the Cincinnati Art Academy, with Forsyth, Duveneck, and Hopkins. He exhibited at the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts (Paris), Art Institute of Chicago, John Herron Art Institute, Chicago Gallery Association, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
