| 464. William Clusmann (American, 1859-1927), "Dutch Windmill", c.1920; oil/canvas, 26" x 20", signed, nice original ornate frame. Chicago area landscape painter. He was a member of the Chicago Society of Artists, Chicago Watercolor Club, Hoosier Salon, and the Chicago Gallery Association. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1910s. This may have been painted in the United States, because it is documented that Clusmann painted windmills in Illinois and Minnesota. 1000-2000 | ||||||||
