Rude Osolnik (American, 1915-2001) became known for his use of fallen logs, stumps and lumberyard scraps to create unique turned wood forms. His work is represented in Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, Atlanta's High Museum of Art, and Renwick Gallery, Washington, D.C. Osolnik was a faculty member at Berea College in Kentucky for 40 years.
