474. Ward Lockwood (American, 1894-1963), "Still Life with Cherries", c. 1930; watercolor, 17" x 22", signed. Lockwood studied at Kansas University and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, Denver Art Museum, San Francisco Museum of Art, and the Museum of New Mexico. He painted murals in the Taos, New Mexico Court House.
