Ewertz studied fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, where she met her husband, sculptor Henry Ewertz. The couple, living in Hatfield, PA, executed figurative works of the Dutch Amishthe "Plain People", as they refer to their subjects, in the 1940s and 1950s. 1000-2000
