366. Emma Mendenhall (American, 1873-1963) "Mexico", c. 1907; watercolor, 19" x 13", signed, titled, and dated. Mendenhall studied with Duveneck and Nowottny at the Cincinnati Art Academy and was a member of the American Watercolor Society, Washington Watercolor Club, MacDowell Club (Cincinnati), and the Womens Art Club, Cincinnati. Mendenhall traveled frequently with her friend, fellow painter, Dixie Selden, to Mexico, Spain, France, and Italy. 300-500
