704. Charles Warren Eaton (American, 1857-1937), "Pine Trees", c. 1915; oil/canvas, 24" x 20", signed, excellent original carved frame. Well known tonalist painter. Eaton studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design. Eaton painted in Bruges, Belgium in the mid-1880s. After the 1910s, Eaton traveled to Europe less frequently, painting mainly in Connecticut. This is an excellent example of Eaton’s mature work. 8,000-10,000
