716. Larry Zox (American, b. 1936), "Untitled", c. 1980; watercolor and acrylic/heavy paper, 34" x 11" (the entire sheet is visible, which measures 41" x 29" overall), signed. Zox exhibited throughout the 1960s-70s. He was artist-in-residence at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. 1500-2500
718. William Freinik (German/American, 20th century), "Painting #19", c. 1960; oil/masonite, 40" x 38", identified on verso with artist's photo with painting. Born in Wattenschied, Germany, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Stuttgard and with Hans Hoffman in Munich (1924-26). He moved to the United States in 1928 and settled in Chicago. He lived there until 1945, when he moved to Seattle. He held major shows at the Gelsenkirchen Art Museum, Germany; Inter Gallery, Brussels; Sebastian Reeve Gallery, and the Robert James Gallery, both in California. 1500-2500
