Charles Argall (American, 1892-1960), "Seated Model", c.1942; oil/canvas, 30" x 25", signed and dated, original frame. San Jose, California painter. Argall studied at the Chouinard Art Institute and the Los Angeles County Art Institute. He was a member of the California Art Club. He won awards at the Los Angeles County Art Institute, San Fernando Valley Professors Artist Guild, California Art Club and the Painters and Sculptors Society. His work is in the collection of the Los Angeles Museum of Art. 1500-2500
