562. Louis Aston Knight (French/American, 1873-1946), “Reno, Nevada”, c. 1925; oil/canvas, 18" x 21", signed and titled. This French painter spent a good deal of time in the United States, and executed several works of classic American subject matter in his well-known impressionist style. He was the son of painter Daniel Ridgeway Knight. He exhibited at the Paris Salon and the Paris Expo. 2500-3500
