| 550. Arthur Merton Hazard (American, 1872-1930), “Bay of Santa Barbara”, c.1925; oil/canvas, 20" x 30", signed. Hazard studied with Frank Duveneck in Cincinnati, and in Paris. He moved to Los Angeles late in life, in 1923. He painted portraits and landscapes, and his work is included in the collections of the Amon Carter Museum (Ft. Worth) and the Sierra Nevada Museum. 2000-3000 |
