543. Frederick Lincoln Stoddard (American, died 1940), “San Antonio”, c.1890; oil/canvas, 14.5" x 21", signed. Stoddard studied in Paris and at the St. Louis School of Fine Art. He was a member of the North Shore Art Association and the Salmagundi Club, and exhibited throughout the early 20th century. This is a very rare, early subject matter for Stoddard. 1500-2500
