536. Hans Richard von Volkmann (German, 1860-1927), “Expansive Landscape”, c.1918; oil/canvas, 25" x 38", signed and dated. Important German Secessionist landscape painter. Volkmann’s naturalist style is very similar to his more well-known contemporaries, Richard Riemerschmid, Leopold von Kalckreuth, and Fritz von Uhde, who were major figures in the Munich Secession. 4500-6500
