| 508. Roy Wilhelm (American, 1895-1954), “Northern Ohio Farm Scene”, c.1935; oil/canvas, 28" x 30", signed, nicely framed. Wilhelm studied in Cleveland, with E. Novotny, E. Gruppe, and H. Keller. He was a member of the Akron Society of Artists, North Shore Art Association, Buffalo Society of Artists, and the Ohio Watercolor Club. He exhibited primarily landscapes and harbor scenes throughout the 1930s-40s, and his work is included in the collections of Ohio Bell Telephone, Akron Art Institute, and the Ohio Federation Womens Club. 2500-3500 |
