497. American School (style of Louis F. Berneker), “Nude in a Spring Landscape”, c.1920; oil/canvas laid down on board (original), 20" x 16", unsigned. This work, although unsigned, is very similar in style and subject to the work of Berneker. It came from a St. Louis estate, and Berneker did work for a time in St. Louis. It is very well done. 400-600
