Erickson studied at the Herron Art Institute (Indianapolis) and the Art Institute of Chicago. He exhibited at the Hoosier Salon from 1927-1942, and also at the Illinois State Museum, Chicago Norwegian Club, and the Chicago Academy of Fine Artists. 600-800
