| 621. William Eyden, Sr. (American, 1859-1919), "The Family Hearth", c.1910; oil/canvas, 22" x 30", signed, ornate frame. Eyden came to the United States in 1866 from Germany. He painted landscapes and interiors. He was the founder of the Richmond (IN) Art Association, and was the father of William Arnold Eyden, Jr. This is an outstanding example of this artist's work. 800-1200 |
