594. Laura Van Pappelendam (American, early 20th century), "New Mexico Landscape", c.1930; oil/canvas, 27" x 24.5", signed. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and with George Bellows, and Diego Rivera. She traveled to New Mexico and painted several southwestern landscapes. She exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1914-1944, Philadelphia Sesquicentennial Expo., and the Chicago Gallery Association. 2000-3000 Property of Oak Park River Forest High School.
