He was a member of the All-Illinois Society of Fine Art, Chicago Society of Etchers, and the Association of Chicago Painters and Sculptors. He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago as early as the 1910s, and his work is in the collections of the Illinois State Museum, J.H. Vanderpoel Art Association, and the City of Chicago. He taught at the Peoples University of Chicago. Richard painted Midwestern and Western landscapes and figures. 800-1200 |
