(American, 1874-1940), "The Bath",
c.1905; pastel/paper, 14" x 11", signed. Mora studied with Benson
and Tarbell at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, and later at
the Art Students League. Mora frequently worked in this
medium, and exhibited at the Boston Art Club (1898-1908);
Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (1898-1934); National Academy of Design
(1895-1931); St. Louis Expo (1904); and the Corcoran Gallery
biennials (1907-1935). His work is included in numerous museum collections.
