He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and at Reed's Art School in Denver. He exhibited primarily landscapes and portraits from the 1920s-40s in Chicago. He was a member of the All-Illinois Fine Artists, Chicago Gallery Association, and the Swedish Artists Chicago. 1000-1500
