460. Dana Bartlett (American, 1882-1957), "Grand Canyon", c.1930; oil/board, 30" x 36", signed, fine carved frame. Bartlett worked in New York and Paris before settling in Los Angeles in 1927. He exhibited at the Laguna Beach Art Association, California Art Club, and the Painters and Sculptors of L.A. This is an excellent example of Bartlett's bright decorative style. 6000-8000

461. Franz Arthur Bischoff (American, 1864-1929), "California Landscape", c.1910; oil/board, 13" x 19", signed. Bischoff first came to California in 1900, and six years later established a studio in Los Angeles. He was already well known for his ability as a china painter, but in California, his attention turned to colorful landscape paintings. His works are included in the collections of the Laguna Beach Museum, Terra Museum, and the Oakland Museum.
