590. Tanasko Milovich (American, b.1900), "Awakening", c.1959; batik, 24.5" x 32", signed and dated, framed and under glass. Studied in Paris. Milovich was also a painter, but his specialty was batiks. He exhibited at the Paris Salon (1928), Salon d'Autumne, Kansas City Art Institute, and the St. Louis Artist Guild.
