Heurmann studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and exhibited at the Columbian Expo (1893) and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She was a member of the Chicago Society of Artists, Chicago Women's Club, and the Chicago Art Club. 700-900

529. Alexander H. Wyant (American, 1836-1892), "Woodland Interior", c.1867; oil/canvas, 16" x 12", signed, fine frame. Wyant worked in the later part of the Hudson River School era, and received recognition for his landscapes. His work during this period was luminous and delicately painted. He worked closely with George Inness, and studied at the National Academy of Design. 2500-3500

530. G.H. Mitchell (American, b.1880), "Idyllic Scene", c.1920; watercolor/board, 24" x 17", signed. Mitchell studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with Chase. He worked as an illustrator in new York, and was a member of the Society of Illustrators in 1914. 1500-2500
