Charles and Ray Eames DCMs, set of four, 1946 manufactured by Evans molded ash plywood seats and backs on chrome frames with screw-on foot pads, large Evans labels, 19.5"w x 21"d x 29"h, excellent condition 2000-2500 Provenance: Breeze-Stewart Collection The early DCMs had screw on footpads, and solid frames. Beginning in 1953 a boot glide was substituted as the foot. In the late 1950's production was changed to a tubular frame with white nylon feet. |
