2076 Charles and Ray Eames Pre-production DCW, 1945 manufactured by Evans Products molded birch plywood seat, back and frame with early oval shockmount with exposed washer, 19.5"w x 20.5"d x 31"h, 3000-5000 Provenance: Breeze-Stewart Collection This chair varies in several ways from the final production version. It is taller in height and has deeper molds to the compound curves of the seat and back. The shockmount still has the exposed metal on the back. An important early chair, it is in fine original condition.
