Charles and Ray Eames Sofa compact, c.1954 manufactured by Herman Miller, c.1954 three foam sections in original Alexander Girard magenta vinyl with folding back on a chromed and black enameled steel frame, 72"w x 26"d x 29"h, very good condition 3000-3500 This is the first Eames sofa design to be produced. The form is based on a built-in seating unit from the Eames house. The sofa has been in continuous production since 1954. |
