| 265. after Charles Livingston Bull , Arts & Crafts illustration of a peacock, watercolor/paper, 24" x 16", in its original oak frame, signed with an indistinct monogram, which appears to say, "Copy of Charles Livingston Bull". The style and date of the object are entirely consistent with the work of Bull, but we must assume it was not his work. Bull worked with Harvey Ellis, and specialized in illustrations of wild animals. This is an outstanding Arts & Crafts period watercolor. 1000-2000 |
