666. Pauline Palmer (American, 1867-1938), "A Sunny Day", c.1905; oil/board, 24" x 20", signed, original frame. Important Chicago area impressionist. Palmer studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and began exhibiting there in 1898. Around the turn of the century, she went to Paris, where she worked with Richard Miller. She also worked in Provincetown with Charles Hawthorne. 8000-10,000 |
