| 520. Adolph Heinze (American, early 20th century), "Inspecting the New Plow", c.1930; oil/board, 30" x 25", signed. Heinze studied in Chicago with K.A. Buehr and Frederic Grant. He was a member of the Chicago Gallery Association, All-Illinois Fine Artists Associaiton, and the Chicago Palette and Sculptors. He exhibited at the Municipal Art League and the Chicago Gallery Association (1927). Heinze painted impressionist landscapes and also did a great deal of illustrative work such as this. 2000-3000 |
