519. John B. Lear (American, 20th century), pair of drawings, one pictured: "Angelic Figure", c.1935; 14" x 10", and not pictured, "Male Nude", drawing. Lear worked in Philadelphia and exhibited in the 1930s. He specialized in Art Deco style images in the style of Paul Cadmus. 600-800

520. Adolph Heinze (American, early 20th century), "Inspecting the New Plow", c.1930; oil/board, 30" x 25", signed. Heinze studied in Chicago with K.A. Buehr and Frederic Grant. He was a member of the Chicago Gallery Association, All-Illinois Fine Artists Associaiton, and the Chicago Palette and Sculptors. He exhibited at the Municipal Art League and the Chicago Gallery Association (1927). Heinze painted impressionist landscapes and also did a great deal of illustrative work such as this. 2000-3000
